This weekend the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex will welcome over 4,000 athletes for the Northeast for the Ocean Breeze Freedom Games. In only its third year the Freedom Games has become one of the premier event in the Northeast with schools from Rhode Island to Virginia traveling to the New York City toto participate in the Games.
New for 2018 the Freedom Games will stretch over a two day period with all varsity events taking place this Saturday being followed on Sunday by the Freshman/Sophomore and the youth divisions.

The Freedom Games guarantees to feature the best talent in the Northeast and fast times. "When you take the fastest kids in the country and put them on the fastest track in the country you are going to see some amazing times," stated
Louis Vazquez, Freedom Games meet director. "The weather has caused a few teams to decline their invitation to the games but we still expect a high level of competition."
