Congrats to Sue for being the Ocean Breeze Atheltic Complex December 2025 Spotlight!

Sue is a 47-year-old retired NYPD officer. She first joined Ocean Breeze because of its convenient location, but once she became a member, she discovered how much fun the facility offers—especially the recreational activities on the second level, including table tennis, pickleball, and badminton. She also enjoys staying in good health and maintaining her fitness.

Her favorite place to work out is the weight room, where she focuses on maintaining a toned body. She especially enjoys performing all types of lunges to build her leg muscles. Sue began working out to stay in top physical shape to be an effective police officer and protect the public.

Her fondest memory at Ocean Breeze is doing leg workouts with Melissa. They're challenging—but fun! Her current fitness goals are to maintain good health and keep her body in great shape. "Working out is my hobby!" she exclaimed.

Sue's family consists of five people—and with her two cats, the Lui family totals seven loving members. Her husband, a retired NYPD captain, is also a member here at Ocean Breeze, and together they participate in group fitness classes and other activities.

Sue and her husband have three children. She holds a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, and her full-time job now is motherhood!
