Yaniv Hauzenberg is the Ocean Breeze Member of the Month for October 2025!

Yaniv is more excited than ever to celebrate his 46th birthday this month, especially since he was selected as our Member Spotlight!

October has always been a special month for Yaniv, filled with meaningful celebrations like Yom Kippur with his family and another trip around the sun.

Since joining, he's been hooked on the "fun" morning group fitness classes—especially those with Melissa. Each week, he pushes himself to increase his weight load, aiming to build more muscle definition. He's inspired by his faith in God, his 10-pound weight loss, and the love of his family to continue striving to be the best version of himself.

Yaniv is a graduate of Columbia University, where he majored in Mediation and International Conflict Resolution. He began his career as a history teacher in Brooklyn and later transitioned into professional lighting sales. "If you're looking for a bright light, find me!" he jokes.

He always makes sure to get his workout in before his day takes him in many different directions.

"What a difference a year makes!" Yaniv exclaims. He initially joined in 2024 to get fitter and healthier, but he didn't expect to meet so many new faces who would become true friends. Now, he looks forward to more social outings with his newfound circle of Ocean Breeze members.

Born and raised in Israel, Yaniv relocated to Brooklyn before eventually settling in Staten Island 14 years ago with his wife. He is a proud father of two young daughters, ages 8 and 9. "My family knows the way to my heart is a tray of lasagna," he chuckles.

One of his unique hobbies? Collecting stamps from around the world!
