The Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex hosted the Jack O' Leary Invitational for the first-time in the complex's 10+ year history. The boys & girls 1600m race honored the late Medal of Honor Recipient, & Staten Island resident, Father Vincent Capodanno.
FULL RESULTS
- Kinnelon's Ilario Badalamenti ran 6.66 in the 55m dash en route to victory. In the hurdles, Mount Olive's Cadence Rupprecht took first-place at 7.73.
- Mount Olive posted another win when Ryan Foley took first-place in the 600m at 1:22.56.
- Morris Hills' Nicholas Falcone won the 1600m at 4:17.19, while Chatham's Brady Byrne took the 1000m title with his time of 2:41.72.
- Justin Parris took the 300m at 35.96 to give Malcolm X Shabazz one of their two victories on the day. They also took the 4x400 at 3:27.41, anchored by Parris.
- Elizabeth closed the boys events with a 1:31.15 in the 4x200 relay.
- Montville Township's Anthony Agnoli tossed 57-9 to take first in the shot put at 57-9, while Allentown's Dylan Voehl cleared 6-0 to take the high jump. The pole vault belonged to Elizabeth's Jaydan Cadet, who cleared 11 feet.
- Parsippany's Jacqueline Reid ran 7.39 to win the 55m dash. Morristown's Kayla Ewing followed with a victory in the 55m hurdles at 8.32.
- Randolph's Carly Renna took first-place in the 600m at 1:39.92, while Montville Township's Gabriella Pelov dominated the 1600m at 5:09.09.
- Roxbury's Leah Johnson claimed the 1000m title with her time of 3:08.88.
- The 300m dash saw Chatham's Sarah Nacinovich pull away late for a 40.76 win.
- Morristown took the 4x200 at 4:20.10, while Randolph closed the meet with a 1:50.52 time to win in the 4x200 relay.
- Morris Knolls' Adair Para tossed 36-7Â in the shot put.
- Whippany Park's Riley Wright-Phillips cleared 4-10 to secure the high jump victory, and Morris Hills' Gianna Ledford won the pole vault at 10-0.
