The Ocean Breeze WaveRunners continued their cross country season at the 2025 USATF NY Junior Olympic Championships. The team tallied 23 medals & 39 student-athletes qualified for Region One.
FULL RESULTS
- 9–10 Girls won their age group with 23 points, led by Victoria Pavani's win in the 3K at 13:18.64, followed closely by Nicole Valladares (2nd, 13:27.10), Keira Kidney (7th, 14:08.20) & Eloah Bonaldo (13th, 14:39.73)
- 9–10 Boys won their age group, taking 1st place with 22 points, thanks to Hudson McGuire's first-place time of 11:46.77 and strong runs from Noah Ramos (6th, 12:45.01), Zain Azemi (9th, 13:08.47), and Jaiden Goonawardena (12th, 13:17.89) & Joseph Zarilli (15th, 13:33.73) & John Robisky (16th, 13:40.36)
- 8 & Under Boys finished second place in their age group behind top-15 performances by Lucas Gallo (5th, 8:26.13), Dominick Gallo (6th, 8:30.66) & Menar Topallaj (15th, 9:02.49)
- 11–12 Girls earned 3rd place led by Savannah McGuire (11th, 13:07.47) & Kylie Kidney (14th, 13:42.21)
- 11–12 Boys finished 3rd in their age group with 87 points
- 13–14 Girls finished 3rd in their age group led Gabriella Mitchell with a 4th-place finish (16:55.90)
- 13-14 Boys saw Timothy Kliesch medal at 16:01.11, coming in 13th place
- The 15-18 boys had six top-15 finishes - Volodymyr Tsybriy (2nd, 19:06.38), Daniel DiMeola (3rd, 19:17.18), Adrianko Tomecek (5th, 19:58.34), Ethan Stukal (6th, 20:46.79), & Brandon Ruan (11th, 22:09.86)
