Wagner College (Men), CCSU (Women) Win 2023 Northeast Conference Championships

The 2023 Northeast Conference Championships saw Central Connecticut State University Women & Wagner College Men win their respective championships. Wagner completes the three-peat & CCSU repeats as women's team championships after sharing the honor with FDU in 2022.

RESULTS



Angie Rafter was named 2023 NEC MVP after winning the 3K, 5K, Mile, & anchored the CCSU DMR to victory. Rafter was also named MVP of the 2022 NEC Championships. Rafter, competing in her final indoor championships for CCSU, helped secure the team trophy with her distance triple-crown.

Salif Mane was named 2023 NEC MVP after doubling in the long jump & triple jump. Mane sent the new meet record & broke his own Ocean Breeze College Facility Record in the triple jump at 16.72m, currently the second-best in the NCAA. Mane won the long jump at 7.49m, nearly breaking the meet record of 7.50m on day one of the championships.
