American Record, New Facility Records Set at 2025 USATF Indoor Championships

The 2025 USATF Indoor Championships were held at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex for the first-time since 2019 & the action on the track didn't disappoint! 

Josh Hoey broke his own American Record in the 800m at 1:43.24, chopping .66 seconds off the mark he set two weeks prior.

Facility Records were set over the two-day championship: 

New Women's Facility Record Holders:
 
  • Timara Chapman – Pentathlon – 4,555 points 
  • Chase Jackson – Shot Put – 19.65m 
  • Monae' Nichols – Long Jump – 6.73m 
  • Masai Russell – 60mH – 7.74 
  • Rachel Richeson – Weight Throw – 25.26m 
  • Nia Akins – 800m – 1:59.31 

New Men's Facility Record Holders:
 
  • Josh Hoey – 800m – 1:43.24 
  • James Carter – Triple Jump – 16.88m 
  • Daniel Haugh – Weight Throw – 25.11m 
  • Chris Bailey – 400m – 45.15

  • Elijah Kosiba – High Jump – Grand Valley State University – 2.22m 
  • Joshua Rivers – Long Jump – Wisconsin-Oshkosh – 7.96m
